WHY DOES THE ARTIST REQUIRE A CONTACT PERSON?

To streamline the process of managing the project over a long period of time, experience has shown that one main contact, representing the Client in communication with the Artist, ensures information, questions, arrangements for appointments, are processed with due diligence. The goal of the Artist during the process is to make the exchange as transparent as possible and provide access to the work in progress to maintain quality and accuracy.

ARE CORRECTIONS/CHANGES AVAILABLE WHILE THE ORIGINAL ART IS BEING PAINTED?

Yes, usually changes do happen while work is in progress in various areas of the art, sometimes better images become available, or additional information is needed to appear on the art. However large scale changes affecting the Original Art design once the Sign-off/ Approval of the Colour Sketch will need to be re-negotiated as to amount of time and whether the deadline can still be met.

WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT OF THE ORIGINAL ART WANTS REVISIONS MADE TO THE ART?

Absolutely! One session of revisions by the person(s) receiving the Original Art is included with the art project and is available up to 6 months after delivery. If the Original Art is located in Calgary, then arrangements will be made between the Artist and Recipient to making the needed changes. If outside Calgary, then arrangements are made to have the art piece shipped to the Artist. Once the changes are made, then it is packed and returned to the Recipient.

*Please note any reproductions and/or digital files ordered and delivered prior to the Recipient’s revisions request remain as is. It is at the discretion of the Client, Recipient or other interested parties to order new reproductions, prints and/or digital files.

ARE REPRODUCTIONS AVAILABLE OF THE ORIGINAL ART?

Yes. If requested, the Artist can provide the rates & time needed to process these requests. They can be ordered individually on an as-needed basis, or ordered as a group for a more economical rate. These reproductions can be framed as well as arrangements and pricing for packing and shipping services can be provided by Artist as well.

HOW TO ARRANGE FOR UPDATES TO THE ORIGINAL LIVING ART PIECE?

An Update is defined as any work or changes requested 6 months after the delivery date of the Original Artwork to the Client. The best use of updates is when new milestones are achieved, new persons are to appear within the Original Art, and pertinent information is needing to be recorded. The Client contacts the Artist when they are ready to have new information, images added, revised, or removed from the Original Art. Once a list of updates is documented, the Artist will estimate the time it will take for the changes, provide the information to the Client. Arrangements are made for either a pick-up (in Calgary), or shipped to the Artist with charges paid for by the Client
