The Living Art Concept
In 2004, after realizing that corporate and personal stories, culture and legacies needed to be archived for current relevance and future posterity, this concept was developed into a viable and thriving Living Art™ business that commemorates, celebrates and honours the above.
Each art piece is created either as an acrylic painting onto specially-treated canvas to simulate old leather parchment, or as an ink & acrylic wash illustration onto archival stock, depending on the size of the art piece.
On average, depending on the square footage of the canvas, it takes 250 to 500 hours, including research, interviews, sketches, transferring the design to the canvas, and hand-painting the images and lettering in great detail, to complete large-scale final artwork.
